Would you believe that this bowl is woven using telephone wire? There is a store in Hawi called Elements that sells these in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.
They are made by hand by craftsmen in Africa.
This is the first one I bought and it sits on my dining room table, usually empty so you can see the design but sometimes you'll find it making a nice bed for a cat.
I bought this one several years ago when they only had a small supply. Now they have a bigger selection in many color combinations. If you find it hard to make a decision, plan to spend hours choosing the one that's right for you.

i think theses bowls are wonderful colors!
Noodles is too tubby to fit.
Noodles would probably fit in the big one -- Pebby is a big cat and it's a perfect size for her.
The colors are what grabbed me too.
