Since I can see from the kitchen (where I dye) into the living room, I set up racks of scarves in the living room so i can tell what colors I need to make. Otherwise I just make the colors I like and I end up with racks and racks of ocean colors and nothing else.
If you're in Kona, stop by the Orchid show on Friday and Saturday, May 11 & 12, at the Old Airport Beach pavillion. In addition to tables full of beautiful, healthy orchids, there are always some great crafts to tempt you.
