This summer I've had to come up with a better way of transporting my scarves to the two shows I'm doing in Honolulu. Putting them in suitcases means they get wrinkled and need ironing when I get there.
Noodles to the rescue! Those foam noodles for the pool. I cut them to fit inside a cardboard box. Then roll about 50 scarves, one at a time on the noodle, pop them in the box and take them to the post office. They're lightweight and non-breakable. They arrive in perfect shape and best of all, no ironing required. They also take up very little room and I can pack 200 in a box that ships for $10. They also take up very little room in the booth so I can keep all my stock right there, ready to unroll as I need it.

I'm so glad you are back and blogging again. I enjoy your ideas. It was fun meeting you at Quilt Hawaii too. Your noodles are a wonderful idea. Glad it makes your traveling scarves so smooth.
