Color me Beautiful

How many of you remember the book that came out in the 80s called Color Me Beautiful?  It divided colors into seasons and helped you decide which season looked best on you.

I've been trying to figure out a way to help my customers decide which scarf looks best on them or on the person receiving the scarf as a gift.  When I get really busy, it's hard to give everyone individual attention and I was looking for something to help get them started on their own.

So I got a copy of the 1980s version and divided my scarves into four different racks - winter, summer, spring and fall.  The idea is that people who look good in the warm colors will find their best choices in the fall and spring group and those who look best in the cool colors can go for the winter and summer groups.

I have my potentially biggest show coming up towards the end of August in Honolulu so i'll be able to report back about how successful this was.  At any rate, it was a fun exercise to try and fit all my one-off colors into the appropriate category.
