When I can't find scarves that are already cut and hemmed to the right size, I buy a roll of silk in white with a design that I like, and do the cutting and hemming myself. That's what I did with the green seaweed-y one above. I do the hemming by hand because I don't like the way it looks when I try to do machine hemming. Either I'll have to practice more or resign myself to doing lots of hand rolled hems. I don't mind doing the hand work but even though I'm faster than I used to be, it still takes a fair amount of time to hem each one.
And this is another one that I've been buying on the roll, cutting and hemming. I usually make some that are 20x60" and cut the rest 12x60" or 15x60" -- it depends on what seems to be selling best.
I have a few more new designs including a great butterfly design that I'll show you as soon as I photograph them.
