love your flower photo inspirations.the bird is such a "rainbow of colors" that i never get tired of painting her....

I love the bird too and this one is right outside my kitchen window seat - so I can just sit there and admire it (assuming the cats can be persuaded to move elsewhere.) I wish they didn't looks so awful when the flowers die off.

i have to tell you this and it probably won't surprise u 2 much but i have cut those dry and wizened bird stalks and actually painted them, put back the color, very rustic... but oh well, y not?
