Chiffon Chevrons

This scarf is made by fan folding the fabric in fours, wrapping it diagonally around a pole, wrapping string around the fabric and then pushing the fabric as far down the pole as possible. Then the pole sits in dye for about an hour. The white areas are the parts the dye didn't penetrate, leaving two sets of green chevrons running down the length of the scarf. I'll have a few of these for sale at the Cherry Blossom Festival on Feb 2 in Waimea.
