Changing colors

My friend had a white sweater she wanted to dye a Navy Blue. She used Rit dye and it turned out Purple. So she used Rit Color Remover and it turned out Lavendar - even worse. 

It's next stop was my kitchen/studio where I used LOTS of Dharmas's Procion fuschia color dye to change it to a hot pink. For awhile it was a dark raspberry but evenually when all the excess dye was gone it turned out somewhere in between Raspberry and Hot Pink.

Since I didn't dye it in the washer, it has some mottled areas that i hope she can live with. It is much prettier than the purple or lavendar so maybe it will work.
